Oak Creek, WI – March, 2022 – Superior Die Set announces the appointment of Rick Sharrow as Director of Operations. Joining the company with over thirty years of experience working in manufacturing, Sharrow has spent most of his career at Wisconsin-based Rexnord Corporation.
Starting his career as a tool and die maker, Sharrow held many leadership positions before working his way up to leading Manufacturing Manager at Rexnord. “Rick’s unique blend of hands-on technical skills and lean experience makes him a great asset to the Superior team,” said CEO Martin Girga.
Superior Die Set has been working on transforming itself through significant technology and talent acquisitions and operational changes such as implementing lean manufacturing processes. Sharrow will be a pivotal person to champion the continued implementation of lean and daily operations of the manufacturing floor. On his new appointment, Sharrow said, “I’m inspired to join a company with a storied history that will be celebrating a centennial anniversary next year. To build upon that legacy, collaborating with the team at Superior to identify and execute on meaningful and strategic improvements will be a key a focus intended to benefit our customers, our employees, and our community.”
